Socio-Community Development

For CSR and related humanitarian projects, the proposal is to create an endowment funds (2.5-3% of fund allocation or revenue earned) for this and similar social-related projects to provide scholarship in particular for deserving and relatively poor family members. One such project is to establish a foodbank or food centre, which many countries have similarly undertaken to cut food waste, reduce hunger and help to alleviate poverty.

Another area for consideration is working with Badan Tanmiyah under PPP initiatives, which will provide lands for housing development.

Plans have also included to assist with NGOs (BANTU, SMARTER, KACA, Pusat Ihsan, Learning Ladder, Beach Bunch, PERTIWI, BISTARI, BASMIDA, KOWERA) and similar NGOs as well as volunteer organisations.

BANTU is established as a non-profit organisation (NGO) operating in Brunei Darussalam with the main objective to help the underprivileged, poor and needy families. For the start, BANTU opened-up an all-female boarding house, Baitul Amanah, Bandar Seri Begawan since January 2017, to cater for these young children’s daily needs and care including their education requirements
